Antoine Buquen. France, 1991.

I was born in Pont l’abbé and raised in the southwest of Brittany, between the sea and the countryside. I’ve always been fascinated by the way the world has been depicted through images.

After two years studying Applied Arts in Pivaut school, in Nantes, I focused my studies on photography. I completed a 2-year degree at ETPA in Toulouse (France) in 2011.

After a bachelor of Fine Arts at the Greenwich University, I travelled in Ireland and Brazil where I started to develop projects of documental photography, all linked with different anthropological aspects.

In 2016, I received a master’s degree of Photography graduating from the Blank Paper Escuela in Madrid, where I now work as a photographer.
